Adipotide is an experimental peptide that has been investigated for its potential to promote fat loss by targeting adipose (fat) tissue. It works by inducing apoptosis (cell death) in fat cells, specifically targeting the blood vessels that supply fat tissue, thereby reducing the size of fat deposits. Adipotide is thought to act by disrupting the function of a protein called “pro-apoptotic peptide” that is involved in the survival of fat cells.
While it has shown promising results in animal studies for reducing body fat and improving metabolic health, Adipotide has not yet been approved for human use, and its long-term safety and effectiveness are still being evaluated in clinical trials. It is primarily being studied for obesity and weight loss management.
