BAC Water

BAC Water (Bacteriostatic Water) is sterile water that contains a small amount of benzyl alcohol (usually 0.9%) to prevent bacterial growth. It is commonly used to dilute or reconstitute medications that are intended for injection, such as peptides, hormones, or other injectable drugs, to ensure they remain sterile and safe for use. BAC Water is preferred over regular sterile water for injections when reconstituting substances for multi-use vials because the benzyl alcohol helps inhibit the growth of bacteria, maintaining the sterility of the vial over time.
